TNB Electron has deployed a high-power 200kW DC fast charger with two CCS2 nozzles at the McDonald’s Batu Kawan Drive-Thru in Penang, near IKEA Batu Kawan. This new installation enhances the EV charging ecosystem by providing a convenient quick-stop location surrounded by popular F&B outlets including KFC, Tealive, A&W, and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
The TELD DC charger supports up to 200kW for 800V EVs, while 400V models are limited to 100kW due to the 250A cables. It is priced at RM1.50 per kWh and can be activated easily by tapping a credit or debit card at the JuiceUP terminal. The charger is available 24/7. To celebrate its opening on 15 May 2026, TNB Electron offered complimentary charging for the entire day as part of operational testing. This deployment continues TNB Electron’s expansion of reliable high-speed charging infrastructure across Malaysia.

这款TELD DC充电器最高可输出200kW功率，800V电动车可达满功率，而400V车型因250A电缆限制最高只能充100kW。充电价格为每度电RM1.50，可通过JuiceUP终端刷信用卡或借记卡轻松启动。该充电桩24小时开放。2026年5月15日开桩当天，TNB Electron提供全天免费充电作为运营测试回馈。此举进一步扩大了马来西亚的高速充电网络，为EV车主带来更多便利。
TNB Electron telah memasang pengecas DC pantas 200kW dengan dua nozzle CCS2 di McDonald’s Batu Kawan Drive-Thru, Pulau Pinang, berhampiran IKEA Batu Kawan. Lokasi ini sesuai untuk pengecasan cepat kerana dikelilingi pelbagai pilihan makanan seperti KFC, Tealive, A&W dan Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
Pengecas TELD ini mampu menyampaikan sehingga 200kW untuk kenderaan elektrik 800V, manakala model 400V terhad kepada 100kW disebabkan kabel 250A. Harganya RM1.50 sekilowattjam dan boleh diaktifkan dengan mengetuk kad kredit atau debit di terminal JuiceUP. Pengecas ini dibuka 24 jam sehari. Bagi meraikan pembukaan pada 15 Mei 2026, TNB Electron menawarkan pengecasan percuma sepanjang hari sebagai tempoh ujian operasi. Langkah ini terus memperkembangkan infrastruktur pengecasan pantas yang boleh dipercayai di Malaysia.
